Welcome to Leading Strings
Our team at Leading Strings are truly dedicated to our children’s early year’s development. Our ethos encompasses our belief that children learn best when they are playing; engaged and interested. We strive to create an enabling environment that supports all children's holistic development whilst allowing them to take a lead in their own learning.
We encourage the children to explore, create and experiment. We are continually looking to extend and challenge all children through our interactions and in-the-moment planning practice.
We are received a "Good" at our most recent ofsted inspection in April 2025. The inspector comments "Staff create a friendly and inviting atmosphere, allowing children to build strong relationships with their peers and the adults. Staff plan a variety of interesting and engaging activities that cover all areas of the curriculum. This approach also provides children with opportunities for self-directed play."
